Alterations for Beginners

Want to learn how to alter your clothes but already know how to use a sewing machine? This hands-on, beginner-friendly class is just what you need!

You and a partner will master essential alteration techniques to make your clothes fit perfectly. From hemming pants and skirts to adjusting waistbands and repairing seams, you'll also gain experience in identifying common fit issues and learning how to fix them. Plus, we'll cover fabric types and needle selection to give you the confidence to alter a variety of garments.
